
Senior Archaeological Consultant
Fraser is a Senior Archaeology and Built Heritage Consultant with over fifteen years of experience working in the heritage sector. He has worked in a variety of rural and urban contexts including major renewable energy and transport infrastructure projects in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. Fraser has also worked as an archaeologist outside the UK in Australia and has carried out heritage impact assessments on World Heritage Properties on behalf wind farm developers in Ireland and Georgia.
Fraser’s current role as a Senior Heritage Consultant is to undertake historic environment assessments, risk appraisal and liaison with clients, local authorities and statutory consultees. This includes carrying out desk-based assessment work, scoping reports, heritage statements, environmental impact assessments and setting assessments as well as producing written schemes of investigation for fieldwork mitigation. The work Fraser carries out ensures clients meet their environmental commitments and are compliant with the associated regulatory framework. Fraser has also appeared successfully on behalf of clients as an expert witness at hearings and Public Local Inquiries.
