Inchkeith Island, Firth of Forth, Fife

Headland undertook an archaeological survey and assessment of an area for a proposed temporary anemometer mast and anchor points at the south end of Inchkeith Island in the Firth of Forth. Because of its importance in the maritime defense of the Forth estuary Inchkeith is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and consent was required for the installation of the anemometer. The survey plotted the military structures affected by the construction and the data used to develop appropriate mitigation measures.
