Stoneypath Tower

Stoneypath Tower, East Lothian

Stoneypath Tower is a prominent 15th century tower house in East Lothian, a listed building and Scheduled Ancient Monument. Headland’s role was to assist the client in the renovation of this for ultimate conversion to a family home. Communication was a key to success, balancing the requirements of Historic Scotland and East Lothian Council with those of the owner and the architect.  Mitigation involved a detailed building record with limited development. Everything on site was undertaken to the highest standard smoothing the way for completion and occupation by the owner.
