Lenalea and Drumnahough wind farms, Donegal

Headland’s consultancy team was commissioned by Fehily Timoney & Co to undertake the cultural and archaeological heritage section of an Environmental Impact Statement of a proposed extension to a wind farm in County Donegal. Working on behalf of Airtricity, the team took a realistic approach to the potential impacts of the wind farm, proposing mitigation measures that would satisfy the planning authority whilst minimising cost to our client. Headland have since undertaken a number of similar projects on behalf of Airtricity, both in partnership with Fehily Timoney & Co., and independently.
