Surveys of Architectural Heritage, National Inventory of Architectural Heritage, Ireland

Headland’s architectural survey team were commissioned to undertake a written and photographic survey of over three thousand relevant 1700 buildings in Galway, West & Mid Cork. The data from the survey will ultimately be made available in regional inventories and will inform the NIAH, a state initiative under the administration of the Department of the Environment, Heritage & Local Government, in recommending buildings to planning authorities for inclusion in the Record of Protected Structures (RPS).
