Headland Archaeology Ireland opened in 2001. Our offices are based in Little Island to the east of Cork city.
How to find us:-
By car from Cork/Dublin/Limerick:
You arrive at the Jack Lynch Tunnel Roundabout at the southern end of the N7 outside Cork city and take the exit for Little Island. Headland’s offices are in the Wallingstown Business Park, also known as the Waterfront Business Park.
By car from Cork airport:
Head east along the N28 towards the Jack Lynch Tunnel and follow the directions as above when you emerge on the north side of the river.
By car from Waterford:
Before Cork, take the Little Island exit after the exits for Carrigtohill and Cobh.
From Little Island Train station (30 minutes’ walk):
Walk over the N25 flyover, across the roundabout, past the Centra and up the hill where the road curls around to the right. Follow the road past a church (left) and the Golf Club. There is a long green hedge followed by a turn to the left. Taking that turn, we are the third left.
